What is Counselling?
Counselling is a type of ‘talking therapy’ in which a trained therapist listens to you and assists you in resolving emotional issues. To different people, the term can mean different things, but in general, it refers to a process that people seek when they want to make a change in their lives or simply explore their thoughts and feelings more deeply.
The counsellor gives the person the much-needed space to be themselves and speak out without having to sound correct, simply opening up about how they truly feel, without fear of being judged or criticised, and without receiving unsolicited advice.
The counsellor advises the person in a way that improves his situation after thoroughly understanding his situation.
PlanCare’s well-trained and compassionate counsellors provide anonymous support therapy via audio and video calls, as well as in-home counselling sessions.
